Djumono, Kepala Seksi Eksploitasi Dinas Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Air mengatakan, 38 waduk yang tersebar di Jawa Tengah hingga akhir September lalu masih dalam kondisi normal. Hanya 13 waduk kecil yang kosong serta satu waduk dalam perbaikan. Diperkirakan, sifat hujan di Jateng bulan Oktober pada umumnya normal berkisar antara 50-300 mm. Menurutnya, Dinas PSDA juga telah membangun waduk, konservasi lahan, perbaikan atau rehabilitasi sarana, modifikasi cuaca dan pengadaan pompa.
